Fog Accident Prevention Device model synopsis

Project Title– Fog Accident Prevention Device// fog detecting system
Introduction – Low visibility conditions in foggy invornament may increase the crash risk. Many people are killed in road accidents due to poor visibility conditions. We need to develop a crash risk prediction model on freeways under fog conditions.
Problem – Number of accidents are increasing in foggy weather. Object detection in foggy weather can be a difficult task . Fog adversely affected road visibility and may cause vehicle collision. visibility obstruction due to fog and smoke cause road accidents.
Solution – I am going to give the idea of fog accident prevention device that can detect vehicles in fogy day using Arduino microcontroller and an Ultrasonic sensors. It is designed to alert the driver to any objects in front of the vehicle via a buzzer and LED.
Material Needed– Ultrasonic sensor ,LED, buzzer, transmitter, receiver, cable and connector, charts, fevicol, plywood, toy car , Arduino UNO, Dc Geared Motors, Castor Wheel, Battery,L298N motor driver external power supply etc.
Construction – I have used a big plywood piece to make the base of my model. Integrate all hardware and software components together to make fog accident prevention device.
Working – Ultrasonic sensor placed in front of the vehicle can identify the object and also the distance from the driver and alert the driver about the object. The main objective is to detect an object ahead of the driver. I have used an ultrasonic sensor for this . Ultrasonic sensor also calculates the distance between the object and the detector. As soon as it detects the object, the driver is alerted with a signal through LED light and buzzer .
Utility – Fog Accident Prevention Device can be used with different types of vehicles like buses ,cars , trucks etc
Cost effectiveness – The price of my proposed model is also not very high and it is affordable .
Conclusion – Fog accident prevention device can reduce the rate of accidents in foggy or low visibility weather conditions. This device should be integrated in different types of vehicles as a road safety and accident prevention parameter. My proposed model offer a solution for collision avoidance and mitigation system in urban and rural road lines during foggy conditions.
