Project title-  Safety System for Coal Mines

 Introduction -Coal mines are a very crucial resource for  economic growth for any country. It is  most significant and plentiful fossil fuel available in India. It contribute to 48% of the total power produced in the entire world .Humans have to dig it from coal mines to get the coal. We need a system that can minimise the coal mine accidents like explosion, collapsing and coal mine workers death caused by the poisonous gases .

Problem- There is lot of manual work in coal mines in daily operations.  Coal mines  are very dangerous places where a person can easily lost his .

Solution - I am going to give the idea of  human safety system for coal mines based on IoT.

Material Needed- Microcontroller Arduino Uno, WiFi module, temperature sensor, smoke sensor, humidity sensor,  crystal, buzzer, cables and connectors, Power source, charts, glue, fevicol, plywood 

Construction - Take a plywood piece and cover it with the chart to make the base of the model.  Integrate all hardware and software components together to make the safety system for coal mines. My project includes WIFI (Esp8266/IOT module) which is connected to Arduino through UART interface. LM35 (Temperature Sensor) and CO (Mq2) sensors are connected to Arduino through Analog and Digital IO pins. Buzzer connected to digital IO pin. Write the software code and upload it to the computer.

Working -I have programed the microcontroller in such a way that  whenever the gas sensor and temperature. Sensors detects the gas level beyond the prescribed values and the data will be immediately stored into remote server and automatically an sms will be sent to the concerned authorities regarding critical conditions. Thereby we can avoid loss of life .Lm35 (Temperature) sensor reads Coal mine temperature. Heavy heat causes fires. Mq2 (CO) sensor reads CO and  methane emission in Coal mines. These sensors data will be displayed on LCD continuously. In abnormal condition gives buzzer sound to alert coal mine workers. WIFI (ESP8266/IOT) module sends sensor data to server continuously. 

Utility -My proposed model can used as a human safety measure in different coal mines  as well as in Underground excavation of different minerals from mines 

Cost effectiveness - It's price is also not very high it is affordable by different  coal mine authorities.

Conclusion - Coal mine safety system can improve the safety of miners by monitoring for hazards and alerting people in the event of an emergency.  These systems can detect potential hazards like gas leaks, fires, and collapses, and can help prevent accidents and injuries by allowing for timely evacuation of personnel.

 परिचय -कोयला खदानें किसी भी देश के आर्थिक विकास के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण संसाधन हैं। यह भारत में उपलब्ध सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और प्रचुर मात्रा में उपलब्ध जीवाश्म ईंधन है। यह पूरी दुनिया में उत्पादित कुल बिजली का 48% योगदान देता है। कोयला प्राप्त करने के लिए मनुष्यों को इसे कोयला खदानों से खोदना पड़ता है। हमें एक ऐसी प्रणाली की आवश्यकता है जो कोयला खदान दुर्घटनाओं जैसे विस्फोट, ढहने और जहरीली गैसों के कारण होने वाली कोयला खदान श्रमिकों की मौत को कम कर सके।

समस्या- कोयला खदानों में दैनिक कार्यों में मैन्युअल कार्य बहुत अधिक होता है।  कोयला खदानें बहुत खतरनाक जगह हैं जहां कोई भी व्यक्ति आसानी से अपनी जान गंवा सकता है।

समाधान - मैं IoT पर आधारित कोयला खदानों के लिए मानव सुरक्षा प्रणाली का विचार देने जा रहा हूँ।

आवश्यक सामग्री- माइक्रोकंट्रोलर Arduino Uno, वाईफाई मॉड्यूल, तापमान सेंसर, स्मोक सेंसर, आर्द्रता सेंसर, क्रिस्टल, बजर, केबल और कनेक्टर, पावर स्रोत, चार्ट, गोंद, फेविकोल, प्लाईवुड 

निर्माण - मॉडल का आधार बनाने के लिए एक प्लाईवुड का टुकड़ा लें और इसे चार्ट से ढक दें।  कोयला खदानों के लिए सुरक्षा प्रणाली बनाने के लिए सभी हार्डवेयर और सॉफ्टवेयर घटकों को एक साथ एकीकृत करें। मेरे प्रोजेक्ट में WIFI (Esp8266/IOT मॉड्यूल) शामिल है जो UART इंटरफ़ेस के माध्यम से Arduino से जुड़ा है। LM35 (तापमान सेंसर) और CO (Mq2) सेंसर एनालॉग और डिजिटल IO पिन के माध्यम से Arduino से जुड़े हुए हैं। बजर डिजिटल आईओ पिन से जुड़ा। सॉफ्टवेयर कोड लिखें और इसे कंप्यूटर पर अपलोड करें।

कार्य - मैंने माइक्रोकंट्रोलर को इस तरह से प्रोग्राम किया है कि जब भी गैस सेंसर और तापमान। सेंसर निर्धारित मूल्यों से अधिक गैस स्तर का पता लगाता है और डेटा तुरंत रिमोट सर्वर में संग्रहीत किया जाएगा और गंभीर स्थितियों के बारे में संबंधित अधिकारियों को स्वचालित रूप से एक एसएमएस भेजा जाएगा। जिससे हम जानमाल के नुकसान से बच सकते हैं। Lm35 (तापमान) सेंसर कोयला खदान का तापमान पढ़ता है। भारी गर्मी के कारण आग लग जाती है। Mq2 (CO) सेंसर कोयला खदानों में CO और मीथेन उत्सर्जन को पढ़ता है। इन सेंसर का डेटा लगातार एलसीडी पर प्रदर्शित होता रहेगा। असामान्य स्थिति में कोयला खदान श्रमिकों को सचेत करने के लिए बजर ध्वनि देता है। वाईफ़ाई (ESP8266/IOT) मॉड्यूल सेंसर डेटा को लगातार सर्वर पर भेजता है। 

उपयोगिता - मेरा प्रस्तावित मॉडल विभिन्न कोयला खदानों के साथ-साथ खदानों से विभिन्न खनिजों की भूमिगत खुदाई में मानव सुरक्षा उपाय के रूप में उपयोग किया जा सकता है। 

लागत प्रभावशीलता - इसकी कीमत भी बहुत अधिक नहीं है, यह विभिन्न कोयला खदान प्राधिकरणों द्वारा सस्ती है।

निष्कर्ष - कोयला खदान सुरक्षा प्रणाली खतरों की निगरानी करके और आपातकालीन स्थिति में लोगों को सचेत करके खनिकों की सुरक्षा में सुधार कर सकती है।  ये प्रणालियाँ गैस रिसाव, आग और ढहने जैसे संभावित खतरों का पता लगा सकती हैं, और कर्मियों को समय पर निकालने की अनुमति देकर दुर्घटनाओं और चोटों को रोकने में मदद कर सकती हैं।
